Day has become a mainstay of the Stars line-up over the past three seasons, having played 39 games since making her debut in WBBL|06.
In the Derby against the Renegades last season, Day took a career best 4-19.
The left arm orthodox spinner is a Victoria WNCL representative but was a latecomer to cricket and originally played hockey growing up.
