Stars Abroad: Siddle stars, Stars fall short in WPL Final

The veteran continued his wonderful season, whilst heartbreak struck again for Delhi.

Peter Siddle has two days left in his Shield career but that hasn't stopped him showing his class. The veteran took 3-10 from 13 overs to put Victoria in a good position with Campbell Kellaway unbeaten on 20* at the start of their second innings.

Hilton Cartwright made 17 in the first innings for WA, whilst Brody Couch took 1-27.

Mitch Swepson and Queensland are in an uphill battle against South Australia as they try to hang on to second spot on the ladder and a place in the final.

Marizanne Kapp was unbelievable as Delhi went down again in the WPL. Kapp made 40 from 26 with the bat and 2-11 with the ball from 4 overs in an amazing performance. Annabel Sutherland took 1-29 but along with Stars teammate Meg Lanning, wasn't able to perform with the bat as they had hoped making 2 and 13 respectively. It's Delhi's third consecutive WPL Final loss.
