Stars Abroad: Test stars at home and away
As the free agency window opens in the BBL, many of the players have already headed off to other competitions.
Scott Boland and Beau Webster departed the BBL straight for Sri Lanka to be a part of the Aussie test team that begins their two match series this afternoon.
We will also see a couple of Stars in whites at the MCG this week with Annabel Sutherland and Kim Garth named in the squad to take on England.
BBL Captain Marcus Stoinis made 55* in his second match for the Super Giants in the South African T20 League, following his great form in the BBL which saw him named in the Team of the Tournament.
Tom Curran made 26* with the bat in his second match for the Gulf Giants in the UAE.
Ben Duckett made a statement with the bat smashing 51 from just 28 deliveries for England against India overnight.
Ines McKeon will be part of the Australian Under 19 team to take on Sri Lanka this evening before a spot in the semi final awaits.
Meanwhile a number of Victorians were back in action including Meg Lanning who made 49 with the bat alongside Sophie Day, Rhys McKenna and Liv Henry as they beat WA on Monday.
