Stars name squad to take on Heat

Blake Macdonald has been included in the squad after being named as a replacement player for the injured Glenn Maxwell. Young Victorian quick Austin Anlezark makes way.

WA fast bowler Joel Paris and Victorian batter Campbell Kellaway also return to the squad for the first time in BBL|14 for experienced Victorian quick Peter Siddle and off spinner Doug Warren.

The match will be Marcus Stoinis' 100th for the Melbourne Stars, becoming just the second player in the club's history to achieve the milestone after Glenn Maxwell last season. 

Joe Clarke will play his final game for BBL|14 as England international Ben Duckett is set to join the squad for Friday's match against the Strikers.
