Stars Abroad: Stars start hot for Victoria

Marcus Stoinis retained his position as the number 1 ranked all-rounder in T20 International cricket, after the latest rankings were released last week.

Stoinis was part of the Australian side who split their T20 series with England at 1-1, after he took a wicket in the first match.

Tom Curran's Surrey fell just short of the T20 Final in England. Curran was economical, taking 1-23 from his 4 over. It came off the back of a stunning 86 from 75 deliveries earlier in the week.

In Victoria's preseason fixtures, Tom Rogers made 94* and Sam Harper made 117 in some valuable time in the middle against NSW.

Doug Warren was one of the best of the bowlers, taking 1-44 from his 10 overs.
