One of Australia’s most exciting young all-rounders, Tess Flintoff, has re-signed with the Stars for WBBL|10.
Flintoff re-signs with the Stars
Flintoff missed the majority of WBBL|09 through injury but has fought her way back to full fitness.
At just 21 years of age, Flintoff is already a veteran of 53 games and holds the record for the fastest WBBL half century in history.
Her bowling prowess was on full display recently against India A where she turned the game with the ball, taking 3/39.
“We can’t wait to see what Tess can produce this season after having her last two WBBL campaigns interrupted by injury,” said General Manager Blair Crouch.
“We know she has the talent to become an elite all-rounder and hopefully she can play her role and put together a consistent season.”
Flintoff says she’s feeling fresh heading into WBBL|10.
“The WBBL is one of the best competitions in the world and it’s always exciting to have an opportunity to play at the MCG,” said Flintoff.
“Playing against India A was a great experience recently and I’m really happy with my preseason so far.
“We’ve got a great bunch of girls who I love playing with and we’re not putting a ceiling on what we can achieve this year.”
