Stars set to play four consecutive weekends in Melbourne for WBBL|10.
MCG fixture headlines WBBL|10 for Stars
The Melbourne Stars will kick off their WBBL|10 campaign on opening night in Perth as elite cricket returns to Melbourne this summer.
Featuring current Australian players Annabel Sutherland and Kim Garth, South African superstar Marizanne Kapp, as well as captain Meg Lanning and WBBL|09 Golden Arm Sophie Day, Victorians will be treated to high class action across two venues.
WBBL returns to the MCG on November 15th as the Stars will host the Renegades in a repeat of last year’s historic first standalone home derby at the iconic venue.
The Stars will also play four games at the CitiPower Centre.
“The tenth season of WBBL will be a huge celebration of the competition and our fixture gives Stars members and fans a great opportunity to celebrate that with the team,” said Melbourne Stars General Manager Blair Crouch.
“Importantly, with the reduced fixture, we have four consecutive weekends in Melbourne and we cannot wait to be back at the MCG on November 15th and see as many people in the stands as possible.”
