Stars Abroad: Race to the IPL finals

Marcus Stoinis was the standout performer for Lucknow with the bat in their loss to Kolkata. Stoinis peeled off 36 with the bat from just 21 balls to continue his good run of form. The loss leaves Lucknow just outside the top 4 with 3 matches remaining in their season. 

Glenn Maxwell's RCB kept their slim finals chances alive with a win over Gujurat. They will need to win their last 3 matches and will be relying on other results to go their way to sneak into the top 4.

Both Maxwell and Stoinis were last week named in Australia's 15-man squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup.
