Scott Boland headlines inclusions for huge Sixers clash

Scott Boland has been added to the Melbourne Stars squad for Saturday's clash against the Sydney Sixers at the MCG, after being released from the test squad on Thursday.

It will be the first time Boland has played for the Stars since January, 2019. 

Nathan Coulter-Nile has also been added after recovering from a calf strain he suffered in the opening match of BBL|13.

Brody Couch has been released to play Premier Cricket on Saturday.

As part of First Nations Round, the Melbourne Stars will wear their playing kit designed by Taungurung woman, Sammy Trist. The details of the design can be found below.

The Southern Cross around the Stars logo represents the Southeastern sky. Below the chest, the leaves on the design represent the players, who are all on the same journey as a team, connected through strength, no matter the result of the game. Water is representative of the Yarra River and the bay, whilst below, people represent the club as a family and players as role models for children.
