Stars Abroad: Stars impress before BBL

There were plenty of Stars in action over the last few days as players begin to arrive for KFC BBL|14.

Scott Boland made a successful return to the international scene in Adelaide, taking 5 wickets in Australia's big win over India in the second test. Beau Webster was included in his first ever test squad but wasn't selected.

Ben Duckett continued his wonderful form with 92 runs against New Zealand in England's comprehensive test match win. Duckett will arrive in Australia at the conclusion of the test series. 

The final round of the Sheffield Shield concluded with Mark Steketee playing a key role in Queensland's win over Victoria. The quick took 6 wickets and made 44* and 53 with the bat.

Sam Harper, Campbell Kellaway, Jonathan Merlo and Tom Rogers were on the Victorian side that could relinquish top spot on the ladder.

Hilton Cartwright, Brody Couch and Hamish McKenzie are all part of the WA side fighting for a draw in a rain affected game against NSW. Brody Couch took 3/66 to be the best of the WA bowlers.

Joe Clarke made 40 runs from just 22 deliveries the Global Super League Final for Cricket Victoria in a nice tune up for the BBL.

Annabel Sutherland and Kim Garth had a successful weekend with the Stars skipper taking 4/39 for Australia to wrap up the series win over India. Garth took a tidy 1-35.
